Title: Account Supervisor

Job Summary

  • The Account Supervisor oversees the accounting activities of the member Company or companies from the group, assigned this supervision, ensuring prompt and accurate accounting actions are carried out per time, in order tmaximize the Group’s value.Main Responsibilities
  • Preparation of invoices
  • Follow up with customers tensure payment of invoices
  • Maintaining schedules of Account Receivables and Payables
  • Raising of journal entries.
  • Preparation of bank reconciliation statements and validating accuracy of COT and other charges.
  • Petty cash imprest management
  • Raising memos for Payments
  • Postings intERP
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Updating of fixed asset schedule
  • Responsible for inventory controls and management
  • Responsible for checking accuracy of monthly staff payroll
  • Ensure accurate preparation, remittance and filing of monthly and annual returns tFederal and State tax authorities and other government agencies
  • Attending texternal auditors during the annual audit of the financial statements.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the GCFand Group Executive Chairman.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting
  • ICAN or ACCA certified
  • At least 3 years of proven accounting professional experience
  • Good working knowledge of Accounting Software PackagesSkills And Competencies:
