Title: Accountant
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Port Harcourt.
- The accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial record keeping, preparation of financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting financial analysis.
- Additionally, the Accountant will ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist in audits.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices, including GAAP
- Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting or Finance
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are a plus
