Job Title: Accountant
Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of a restaurant.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare budgets and assist in financial planning.
- Manage payroll and employee-related financial records.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Provide financial advice to management to support business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The candidate should live around Gwarinpa or nearby.
