Title: Accountant (Pharma)
Location: Lagos
Description
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accounting and administrative services in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate capturing of accounting operations and financial records and information.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with spreadsheets and our package, develop and maintain operational, sales, and purchase ledgers and journals.
- Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts, and records are correct.
- Managing petty cash transactions.
- Contact customers about invoices that are past and due
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Implement internal accounting and policy controls
- Handle general account queries
Qualifications
- BSc / HND in accounting or equivalent
- Partial ICAN/ACCA qualification desirable
- Use of Tally account software is compulsory
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a trading environment. Pharmaceutical industry experience advantageous,
- Ability to use of MS office tools is mandatory with above average proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
