Description
- We require qualified Admin support Staff who will provide Administrative, logistics, and procurement support tothe 2023 SMC campaign teams in Jigawa, Kano, Kaduna and Niger states.
- The Admin support Staff will provide support to the country office and state operation team on everyday office administration in Jigawa, Kano, Kaduna and Niger states with support from the project staff.
- The Admin support staff, situated in Kano, Kaduna, Jigawa and Niger states state shall work directly with the Country Officer Operation Team in ensuring proper functioning and management of operation activities in line with Malaria Consortium policies.
Specific Activities for the Admin Support Staff
Admin/Operations Support TA:
- Provides administrative support in the 4 States (Jigawa, Kano, Kaduna and Niger) offices of GF Project;
- Liaise with the Procurement & Admin Officer in coordinating vendor payments and administrative tasks for SMC Philanthropic Funding project
- Review, scanning, and printing of support documents for SMC-related payments
- Ensures proper filing of SMC-related support documents for payments
- Carry out other duties as may be assigned.
Deliverables
At the end of the assignment, the expected deliverables include:
- Ensure completeness of documentation for all final vendor payments
- Assignment report on the status of all vendor payments
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Social Sciences, Project Management or similar
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related role
- Previous experience within the INGO sector and in a related role
- Strong Microsoft office suite skill
- Superior attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Budget development, work-plan Implementation and Expense reporting.
- Good inter-personal, communication and planning skills;
- Previous experience in office administrative support; and
- Possess good understanding, knowledge and experience in document control and management.
- Previous working experience with MC and in SMC are added advantages.
Desirable:
- Person resident in and working experience in the State of Assignment
- An in-depth experience in similar positions/assignment
- Ability to work independently in an organized manner but within an integrated team.
