Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for executives.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility.
  • Act as the point of contact between executives, stakeholders, and external partners, including The Government.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of projects, especially those involving NGO partnerships.
  • Track project progress, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion.
  • Organize and coordinate company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Handle logistics, invitations, and follow-up communications for events.
  • Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and conducive to productivity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 5 – 10 years of administrative experience.
  • Proven experience working with NGOs or in the NGO sector is a must.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
