Primary Family Clinic is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Title: Administrative Associate (Locum)

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary:

  • The Administrative Associate will be responsible for providing excellent administrative support at Reliance Family Clinics in Port Harcourt. This clinic is dedicated to treating every patient with VIP-level care.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging demeanor.

Job Description:

  • Schedule appointments, health education sessions, and on-site events for clients and patients, demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and politeness.
  • Assess patients in need of medical assistance and promptly inform the medical staff.
  • Arrange transportation for both medical and non-medical personnel, as required.
  • Utilize computer systems to accurately document, locate, modify, and retrieve various data, including patient records, claims, invoices, and inventory management.
  • Respond to routine and urgent requests for assistance from patients, families, staff, and others via tickets, phone calls, SMS, social media, and emails.
  • Maintain organized and immaculate soft and hard copies of key organizational documents, adhering to proper filing systems.
  • Demonstrate effective telephone and email communication techniques and etiquette.
  • Document and invoice customers, follow up on payments, and maintain transparent petty cash records.
  • Collect, retrieve, and share patient records securely and confidentially, and enter data for medical or administrative reporting.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a tertiary education in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of work experience.
  • Previous experience in a front desk, customer service, or administrative role, preferably in the healthcare industry, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as popular social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, including honesty, trustworthiness, timeliness, and politeness.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-directed, and goal-driven.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with patient safety, confidentiality, and customer service principles in a healthcare setting.
  • Possesses a friendly and engaging personality.
