About the Job

In this role, you will be building strong partnerships with our merchants, leveraging those relationships to acquire new customers, build brand loyalty and within the API Business Team, provide experience and guidance for the other team members.

  • We are looking for someone who has had proven experience either as a sales manager, senior account manager, partnerships lead or any other related roles in either a Fintech, a crypto exchange, a crypto based product/service organization or a product-based technology company.
  • As the API Account Manager at Quidax, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of our services, address customer’s needs, and drive the execution of the initiatives tied to the achievement of all the goals set for the API Business Team.  You will not only be an executor, but you will also have to be strategic, by identifying new plans that will help the team achieve their goals. .
  • This role requires an understanding of the cryptocurrency market, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in account management within the B2B space.

Responsibilities
Here’s an example of what your day to day at Quidax might look like:

  • Maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact at Quidax for Merchants inquiries & complaints.
  • Keeping track of Merchants performance and quickly identifying deviations from targets and creating strategies to quickly remedy the situation.
  • Understanding the API Business customer’s business goals, identifying more opportunities and tailoring services to meet their specific needs.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the team’s objectives and key results.
  • Identify, upsell and cross-sell opportunities to existing merchants.
  • Liaise with the technology teams to drive delivery of features in the API product and that are beneficial for our merchants.
  • Liaise with the technology teams to quickly resolve any issues or complaints.
  • Regularly update merchants on product enhancements, market trends, and industry insights.
  • Continuously gather feedback from merchants to contribute to product development and improvement.
  • Carry out periodic reviews with merchants to gauge their satisfaction and address any issues.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure our merchants have the best of experiences.

  • You must have great interpersonal skills, must be passionate about customers, goal driven and excited about challenges.
  • You must have a Bachelor’s degree at least.
  • You must be innovative and dogged.
  • You must have great interpersonal skills.
  • You must be superb at documentations & creating breath-taking presentations.
  • You must be an experienced & natural salesman/woman.
  • You should be able to communicate clearly and have great oratory skills, being able to make a convincing argument.
  • You must be a logical thinker and should think very strategically and make data driven decisions.
  • You must also be great at executing strategies.
  • You must be passionate about customers.
  • You should be a people person, having a great personality, great listening skills and people management skills.
  • You must have a knack for excellence, be very focused and goal driven.

Nice to Haves

  • Understanding of blockchain & smart contracts.
  • Belongs to one or more crypto communities.
