Description
- We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, a deep understanding of financial systems, and a passion for fintech innovation.
- You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, and databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Implement data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, and other data structures.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the security and data protection of backend services.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Javascript, and Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of security best practices in backend development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the fintech industry or working with financial systems.
- Knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
- Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
