1). Front Desk Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  • Provide quality service to the customer by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
  • Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis.
  • Maintain strict security procedures with credit and cash transactions, accounting procedures, issue of room keys and guest confidentiality/privacy
  • Maintain communication channels between Hotel guests and all Hotel departments both verbally and in writing as required.
  • Operate switchboard effectively, handling all calls promptly and professionally, greeting all callers according to Accor policy and transfer all calls to relevant departments responding to requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Document accurately all internal and guest messages. Distribute according to specified Hotel procedure.
  • Maintain an accurate internal phone list for accurate transfer of calls. Connect International and Operator Assisted calls for guests, record accurate charges.
  • Assist, as required to screen calls for reservations. Ensure accurate, up to date information is given.
  • Use every opportunity to promote hotel facilities and maximise sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Attend to other duties as requested by Management and Supervisors.

  • Candidates should possess OND / B.Sc Degrees with 1 – 5 years of relevant work experience.

2). Maintenance Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  • Design and improve maintenance strategies, policies, and methods.
  • Fit new parts and make sure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Procurement of fittings and any specialized components or fixtures needed for repairs.
  • Managing the maintenance cost by ensuring all vendor-related invoices are vetted and recorded carrying out inspection on vendor jobs and ensuring quality and accountability of contract terms.
  • Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
  • Read work orders to determine the type of maintenance required i.e. preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on the facility (lighting, ACs, water system, and distribution box), factory (finishing tables, sealing machines, etc.), and utility (boilers, generators, etc.) equipment.
  • Implement the best safety at all times in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee and direct preventive maintenance activities among the maintenance team.
  • Check daily and maintain the condition of all production equipment and machines.
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; and monitoring compliance.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
  • Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Supervise the implementation of preventative/annual equipment maintenance programs, reducing equipment downtime and spoilage significantly.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance plans.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions for equipment issues.
  • Coach and guide the maintenance team on maintenance activities.
  • Drive route cause analyses over machine or process safety failures.
  • Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe acts, conditions, or procedures in the workplace, participating in fire or emergency drills at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary, and adhering to Company policies.

3.  Job Title: Cook/Cummins Chef

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare the menu for service.

Responsibilities

  • Handles guest’s bills and invoices in a good quality service manner.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and service supply at the service station to ensure prompt and effective operation.
  • To be familiar with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu.
  • To prepare the outlet for operation, including mise-en-place, setting and resetting tables, light cleaning, and other assigned tasks.
  • To take food and beverage orders from guests, upselling wherever possible.
  • To utilize the outlet point-of-sales system as prescribed
  • Ensure that all sales are properly recorded, following prescribed procedures for ordering, voiding, or correcting items.
  • To serve food and beverages according to the standards established.

  • Accomplishes and forwards captain order slips to the kitchen for orders of food and drinks to the supervisor efficiently and correctly.
  • Familiarizes with all food and beverage items on the menu, items on promotions and daily special menu, its ingredients, method of preparation, portion size, and presentation to be able to deliver ideal service maximizing guest satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least an OND Degree in Hospitality or other related studies
  • 2 – 5 years of relevant work experience.
