Skache Integrated Services Limited – Our client,  an oil and gas servicing company is recruiting to fill the position below:

Title: Business Development Manager (Oil and Gas)

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

  • Our clients is looking to employ a Business Development Manager with a minimum of 10 years of cognate experience.
  • The ideal candidate would be required to drive the company’s business acquisition plan as well as help management in the development of the medium to long-term Strategic Growth Initiative (SGI).
  • He/She should be self-motivated with demonstrable experience in the development and successful implementation of business opportunity pursuit plans and should have a good understanding of the Nigerian oil and gas service industry including such areas as Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project management consultancy.

Job Description

  • Review and take ownership of the mid to long-term revenue growth and business acquisition strategy, develop action plans in concert with this strategy
  • Set yearly and quarterly revenue targets along with other business development KPIs.
  • Champion the Business Development effort for the newly created EPC business unit
  • Work with management to identify and manage company risks that might prevent growth
  • Update and improve on the Business Development database and activity log system for tracking opportunities and pursuit.
  • Obtain business intel from IOC, NOC, marginal field operators, and competitors and incorporate such into the Business Development action plan
  • Discuss with various divisional heads to understand their real-time specific business support needs and provide bi-weekly Business Development activity report
  • Initiate brand enhancement plans such as online company news updates, participation at conferences, and overseeing the development of corporate items such as banners, brochures, gift items, etc.
  • Attract new clients by innovating and overseeing the Business Development units across the company
  • Prepare presentations and deliver pitches to new and potential clients
  • Combine effort with Bid and Tender Department and other units and foster a collaborative business-conscious environment across the organization

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • A graduate degree will be an added advantage
  • Minimum Experience 10+ years cognate experience
  • Must be passionate and self-motivated
  • Must have demonstrable industry experience
