We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.
  • The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and promoting our comprehensive procurement and payment facilitation services.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in global procurement
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations on MPS services to prospective clients
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to understand client needs and tailor solutions
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with new clients
  • Develop strategies to increase market share and improve the company’s competitive position
  • Monitor and report on sales activities, opportunities, and market trends
  • Represent MPS at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure client satisfaction and retention

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in procurement or international trade

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of global procurement processes and payment solutions
  • Must have a Client base of Corporate organizations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events
  • Female candidates preferably.

Salary
N500,000 Monthly.
