We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Transformation Specialist

Location: Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 3 months

Role Overview

  • The Business Transformation Specialist will play a critical role in assessing business needs, analyzing data, and leading change initiatives that align with our strategic goals.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving business transformation, a deep understanding of the latest trends, and the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
  • This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background and the ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

Business Need Assessment:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify business needs, challenges, and opportunities for transformation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.

Data Analysis and Decision-Making:

  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to interpret business data and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop data-driven strategies to support business transformation initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of transformation projects.

Business Change Management:

  • Lead and manage change initiatives across the organization, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Develop and implement change management plans, including communication strategies, training programs, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the change process.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement business transformation strategies that drive operational efficiency, cost reduction, and revenue growth.
  • Stay updated on the latest business transformation trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to ongoing projects.
  • Lead project teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external partners.
  • Regularly communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes and systems.
  • Advocate for and implement innovative solutions that enhance business performance and competitiveness.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, Lean) is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a business transformation or similar role, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale change initiatives.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies. Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) is preferred.
  • Change Management: Demonstrated expertise in change management, with a deep understanding of the principles and practices of leading successful transformations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically, with experience in developing and executing transformation strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience in managing complex projects from inception to completion. Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) is an advantage.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams through change initiatives.
