Job Description

Financial Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory standards.

Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and manage financial risks.
  • Implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and provide insights for improvement.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Optimize cash management strategies to maintain adequate liquidity.
  • Monitor and manage investment activities.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of proposed business initiatives.

Treasury Management:

  • Oversee treasury functions and banking relationships.
  • Optimize capital structure and financing arrangements.

Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate external audits and address audit findings.

Financial Systems and Technology:

  • Implement and maintain effective financial systems and technologies.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Foster a culture of financial discipline and accountability.

Strategic Financial Decision-Making:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership in making strategic business decisions.
  • Provide financial insights to support long-term planning.

Investor Relations:

  • Manage relationships with investors and analysts.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to make strategic financial decisions.
  • Experience(5 years) in Banking is a plus.
