Job Title: Chinese Translator
Location: Kuje, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- We seek a Chinese Translator to facilitate seamless communication between the Chinese and English languages, focusing on oral, written, and audio content.
- The Translator will ensure the accuracy of translations while preserving the original content’s meaning, format, and tone.
- The ideal candidate will embody a friendly and approachable demeanor, coupled with perceptive and disciplined qualities. Proficiency in managing inquiries and providing precise information with a customer-centric approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret oral, audio, and written content from Chinese to English.
- Ensure translated materials maintain original meaning and tone.
- Edit content while preserving its original format, including font and structure.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- HSK (Chinese Proficiency Certificate Examination).
- Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or in a similar role.
- Fluency in both Chinese and English languages (oral and written).
- Familiarity with translation software and basic technical terminology.
