Title: Client Relationship Officer

Job Role / Objectives

  • We are recruiting a young and dynamic Client Relationship Officer who would be responsible for supporting the end-to-end process of contract management for the organization from the bidding process to project close out.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing winning bids through understanding and preparation of bid tenders and other requirements.
  • Strengthen relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Follow up with outstanding receivables, and create collection strategies.
  • Maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies.
  • Assistvisitors and customers with general enquiries.
  • Research and analyze the identification of commercial opportunities.
  • Monitor market conditions and follow market trends to develop strategies for maximizing margin contributions.
  • Assist in managing the expenditure of the commercial budget.
  • Ensure invoicing team raise invoices within stipulated/set timelines.
  • Prepare and review contractual or commercial documents and agreements.
  • Interpret financial, operational, commercial or customer insights to support business planning and development.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • B.Sc. or equivalent in the Social Sciences or related field
  • 0 – 3 years’ work experience in sales and marketing management
  • Membership of professional management associations will be an added advantage
  • Strong Negotiation skills.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Construction or related industry experience is an added advantage.
  • A Self-motivated, proactive, professional, result oriented individual
  • Great team player.
