Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking to employ a skilled and enthusiastic Client Service / Fund Admin Officer to join their dynamic team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and providing administrative support to our fund management operations.
  • This is a managerial position, reporting directly to the Head of Business Management and Strategy/Managing Director.

Responsibilities

  • To ensure outstanding client service and support the smooth operation of fund management activities.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about investment products, fund performance, and account statements to clients.
  • Assist in the onboarding process of new clients, including account opening, documentation, and client profiling.
  • Process client transactions, such as subscriptions, redemptions, and switches, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports to clients, including portfolio updates, investment reviews, and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as portfolio management and operations, to ensure seamless execution of client requests and deliverables.
  • Maintain client records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Conduct periodic client reviews to assess satisfaction levels, identify opportunities for improvement, and proactively address any concerns.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes that may impact client service and fund operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, presentations, and client communications.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of client service strategies and initiatives.
  • Support the fund administration function by assisting in fund accounting, reconciliations, and reporting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Report Line:

  • You will report directly to the Head of Business Management and Strategy/Managing Director, working closely with the team to deliver exceptional client service and support the fund management operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) or the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation would be an advantage.
  • Membership in relevant professional associations or organizations is desirable.

Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of financial products, investment management, and fund administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in using relevant software applications and systems for client service and fund administration.
  • Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the asset management industry.
  • Proactive and client-focused mindset, with the ability to anticipate client needs and provide timely solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Remuneration
The remuneration for this position will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
