We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Community Manager
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Overview
- We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Community Manager to join our team remotely on a full-time basis.
- The Community Manager will oversee and nurture our community
Responsibilities
Community Engagement:
- Develop and maintain relationships with community members through active engagement on various online platforms.
- Facilitate discussions, respond to comments and inquiries, and foster positive interactions within the community.
- Promote user-generated content and enhance community loyalty and engagement.
Content Management:
- Create, curate, and share valuable content, including posts, articles, and multimedia, that resonates with community interests.
Customer Support:
- Address inquiries, concerns, and feedback from community members promptly and professionally and resolve conflicts or issues within the community, ensuring a supportive and positive environment.
Community Growth:
- Implement strategies to attract new members and increase overall engagement within the community.
- Analyze engagement metrics to assess community health and identify growth opportunities.
Event Coordination:
- Coordinate with the Benefits Officer to ensure the creation and management of virtual and/or in-person events.
- Oversee and ensure the alignment of community events with overall community needs and objectives.
Benefits Management:
- Collaborate with the Benefits Officer to ensure benefits are effectively managed and aligned with community needs.
Impact Documentation:
- Track and document the impact of our programs and support on community members.
- Collect and analyze feedback, reviews, and testimonials.
Feedback and Improvement:
- Enhance engagement strategies through feedback.
Collaboration:
- Facilitate collaboration within the team to align community activities with company goals and strategies.
Crisis Management:
- Manage potential crises or negative feedback professionally.
- Develop solutions to address and resolve issues impacting the community or brand.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor and report the community’s metrics and engagement to evaluate the success of the community.
- Prepare monthly reports on community activities, growth, and impact.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Relevant experience and certifications will also be considered.
Experience:
- Proven experience in community management or a related role, with a strong understanding of online community dynamics.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Attributes:
- Proactive and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Passionate about supporting SMEs and entrepreneurs.
Additional Information:
- In-Person Meetings: Occasional in-person meetings will be required in Lagos, Nigeria, at least once a month.
- Candidates must be able to attend these meetings as needed.
