The International Rescue Committee (IRC)
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the worst humanitarian disasters in the world and assists people in surviving and reestablishing their lives. The IRC, which was established in 1933 at Albert Einstein’s request, provides refugees who are compelled to flee conflict or natural disasters with life-saving treatment and transformative support. We are currently working to restore safety, dignity, and hope to millions of people who have been uprooted and are struggling to survive in over 40 countries and 22 U.S. cities. Leading the road from danger to home is the IRC.
