Title: Content Writer/Administrative Intern – NGO/Foundation

Job Summary
- Manage the overall editorial function of the Foundation’s newsletter, website and social media channels
- Maintain Endowment Programme records, track pledges, send reminder notices of pledges due, and send acknowledgments of donations received.
- Implement, coordinate, direct and maintain the Foundation scholarship program, including preparation of new scholarship agreements, maintenance and monitoring of existing scholarship agreements and maintaining regular contact with donors and students.
- Maintain good lines of communication with the Foundation Board of Trustees.
- General administration of Foundation operations
- Manage Foundation communications including brochures, annual report, and other communications and outreach activities, as needed
- The candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality, informative, and compelling content across various platforms, aligning with our brand voice and messaging.
- This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence through the creation of blog posts, articles, social media content, and more.
- The successful candidate should have a passion for storytelling, excellent writing skills, and the ability to connect with our audience.
- Contribute creative ideas for content campaigns and initiatives.
- Edit and proofread content to maintain high editorial standards and brand consistency.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Love for Humanity
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Skills Requirements:
- A solid understanding and proven experience of the use of a range of social media platforms and content marketing particularly in relation to advertising/branding and customers
- Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to use of effective storytelling techniques.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately
- Organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and work across multiple projects
- Project management skills
