Job Description
- Our client is in need of a Corporate Services Manager. The Successful candidate will have responsibilities for Finance, HR and Admin functions.
Primary Responsibilities
Finance:
Supervise Company Bookkeeper to ensure:
- Timely, upload of all payments and expenses related documents in Zoho system according to stipulated company policies and procedures.
- Prompt calculation and payment of periodic commission to Sales representatives, Independent Sales agents(ISA) and any other commission related payment.
- Preparation of periodic receivable report for management meeting.
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Generation monthly financial statements (P/L, Cashflow).
- Process payroll.
- Ensure periodic filings and payments of State and Federal taxes.
- Provide year-end financial and tax documents to the auditors.
- Audit financial transactions and documents.
- Process and file CAC annual returns with legal practitioner.
HR and Admin:
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for administrative function (e,g. petty cash, staff travel, office maintenance)
- Develop, implement and maintain HR processes, procedures and structure
- Conduct employee onboarding and ensure staff data and requisite documents are updated on Zoho
- Facilitate employee appraisals, analyze and collate results for submission to management
- Identify training needs for staff and deploy staff training.
Operations:
- Provide Short- and long-term planning information of company business in line with direction of the Management.
- Responsible for routine (day to day) management of the Logistics and Finance functions to ensure seamless recording, keeping availability of inventory and fund .
- Provide financial guidance in meeting profitability, growth, and risk management objectives.
- Manage relationship and negotiate optimum financing strategies with Company Bankers
- Responsible for-profit planning function through advising management on pricing, cost, incentives, and margins.
- Oversee preparation of periodic financial and management reports to management.
- Work with Auditors to ensure compliance with control policies and risk management and ensuring acceptable corporate governance level in the business that meet stakeholders’ expectation.
- Work with External Bodies, i.e Tax Authority, Legal, Insurers in ensuring that all statutory provisions are adhered and adequate insurance policies are in place for all risk exposure.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in Accounting.
- ACCA / ICAN.
- Minimum of Five (5) years experience as an Accountant in a supervisory role.
- Experience in managing HR and Admin responsibilities will be an added advantage.
- Industry specific knowledge will give a competitive edge.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Salary
N300,000 monthly
