Job Description
- Acquisition and management of loan portfolio
- Assess the credit worthiness of current and prospective clients
- Determine the level of risk involved in lending to each client
- Perform the required monitoring of existing financial loans for compliance
- Calculate financial ratios to assess the financial health of prospective clients using CAM
- Write recommendation reports to the credit committee and senior management for consideration
- Evaluate a client’s financial statements and credit reports to determine their ability to honor debt obligations.
- Ensure approved loan applications comply with the company’s lending criteria
- Identify discrepancies in credit files and reconcile them
- Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
- Analyze risks and approve or reject loan requests
- Set up payment plans, Maintain updated records of loan applications
- Follow up with clients about loan renewals, Monitor progress of existing loans.
- Send monthly reports to credit bureaus.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Accounting 1 – 3 years work experience.
