Recruitment Squad, a reputable recruitment agency specializing in connecting organizations with qualified candidates, is currently seeking applicants for the following position:

Title: Customer Service Agent

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are looking for a fun, computer savvy, technically inclined, smart, energetic, passionate to work, and hard-working individual to proactively answer day-to-day calls, communicate through website live chat, and respond to emails in our customer service department.
  • The individual should be comfortable and willing to work in multiple functions and departments to learn, develop, and grow within our company.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily high-volume calls, live chat, and support emails.
  • Place orders over the phone, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues by offering solutions.
  • Work effectively with vendors and shipping companies to communicate order tracking information.
  • Work effectively with others in a team environment to identify and resolve problems.
  • Communicate with team members through Slack.
  • Engage in weekly team meetings.
  • Engage customers through social media channels.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of similar call center or retail sales/customer service experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to type 45 wpm or higher.
  • Effective communicator; comfortable interacting with customers and internal partners in a professional manner.
  • Professional in appearance, attitude, and actions.
  • Must have analytical thinking skills and a detail-oriented personality.
  • Experience using E-commerce platforms & software (Shopify, Magento, ShipStation, Fulfillify, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Able to work fulltime schedule: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
  • Work-From-Home and In-office hybrid Schedules are available.
