To serve our customers in Africa, we’ve built out a proprietary payments and ecommerce experience which gives our users the ability to pay for digital content, even when they don’t have a credit card.

Description

  • Carry1st is Africa’s leading publisher of mobile games and digital content. Operating at the intersection of games, fintech, and web3, we scale awesome content in frontier markets by solving hard problems. We develop, licence, and publish games and monetize them effectively with our proprietary platform. We are backed by blue-chip investors like: Andreessen Horowitz, Google, Riot Games, Bitkraft, and Nas.
  • As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing information and resolving customer queries about our different games, the Carry1st Shop, or different payment options available to our customers.

More specifically, in this role…

  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints via all our customer service channels
  • Forward and escalate issues to relevant departments and stakeholders
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right tools

Requirements

  • 2+ years of previous customer service experience
  • Familiarity with customer service software programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to synthesise and communicate complex ideas to both customers and team members
  • Willingness to cooperate with customers to resolve any issues that may arise
  • Ability to maintain a calm and polite manner in stressful situations
