Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  •  Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide accurate information about our products or services, including pricing, availability, and features.
  • Assist customers with order placement, processing returns or exchanges, and resolving billing issues.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate complex cases to the appropriate department for resolution.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and products to effectively address customer needs.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and  transactions
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their inquiries or issues have been resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, logistics, and technical support, to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer service or a related role, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to empathize with customers and demonstrate patience, tact, and diplomacy in handling inquiries or complaints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Ikeja area and surrounding neighborhoods is a plus.
