Job Description
- We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to handle a high volume of interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in-person, providing accurate and timely information.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues by identifying the problem, offering solutions, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Assist customers with product selection, providing guidance and recommendations based on their needs.
- Update customer records in the system, ensuring accurate and detailed information.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as bakers, builders, decorators and logistics.
- Track and report recurring issues to management, contributing to continuous improvement of customer service processes.
- Stay informed about product offerings, company policies, and promotions to effectively assist customers.
- Handle a high volume of customer interactions while maintaining high service standards.
- Meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics, such as response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Must be living in Lekki.
- Proven experience in a customer service role or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with customer service software, databases, and tools.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Familiarity with the company’s products or services (training provided).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in customer service or related fields are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a specific industry, such as retail, telecommunications, or financial services.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities.
- Knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
Working Conditions
- The role may require extended periods of sitting or standing.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 monthly.
