Description

  • As a Customer Service/Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales by effectively assisting customers and promoting products or services.
  • You will serve as the frontline representative of our company, interacting with customers in person, over the phone, or through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Assistance: Assist customers in a courteous and professional manner by addressing their inquiries, concerns, and providing product or service information. Ensure customer satisfaction by actively listening, empathizing, and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Sales Generation: Proactively engage with customers to identify their needs and recommend suitable products or services. Utilize effective sales techniques, upselling, and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all information is captured correctly and promptly. Collaborate with other departments, such as inventory or shipping, to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly, aiming to resolve them to the customer’s satisfaction. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for further assistance.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products or services to effectively communicate features, benefits, and answer customer questions. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business. Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction, address any concerns, and identify potential upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, inquiries, sales, and other relevant information. Generate reports on sales activities, customer feedback, or other metrics as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or education in sales or customer service is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software or other customer service/sales tools.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and a customer-centric mindset.
