Title: Cyber Offense Specialist (Red Teamer)
Location: Yaba, Lagos
Job Purpose
- Responsible for providing valuable offensive security consulting to our clients through project, programme and embedded style engagements.
- Responsible for developing technical solutions and new security tools to exploit security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
- Responsible for Analyzing computer and electronic equipment to find evidence pertinent to a legal trial or internal investigation.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct a range of penetration tests including infrastructure, network, cloud assessment, mobile application (Android/iOS), WIFI assessment and web application.
- Participate in attack and breach simulations, including discovering and exploiting vulnerabilities, social engineering and conducting phishing campaigns.
- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to exploit vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
- Provide valuable offensive security consulting to our clients through project, programme, and embedded style engagements.
- Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
- Conduct internal or external digital forensics investigations;
- Retrieve data from virtual and physical devices
- Collect and analyze network intrusion artifacts and evidence of malicious network activity
- Reconstruct the series of events leading to a compromise or breach
- Collect, process, analyze, and preserve digital evidence in criminal cases.
- Extract and analyze metadata
- Ensure chain of custody of digital evidence
- Write technical reports to document case findings.
- Identify potential threats and provide recommendations for better security.
- Support and mentor junior consultants assisting the Delivery Manager with quality assurance and client engagements
Qualification & Experience Required
- BSc or BA In Computer Science, Engineering, or other Similar Field
- At least 5 years’ experience in an IT Security (SOC Offence & Defence)
- Previous work experience as a SOC Offense Analyst.
- Proven track record of managing projects, services and people.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management.
- The ability to run projects hit deadlines and communicate effectively with customers.
