Summary
- The Cybersecurity Engineer and Instructor is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security of clients’ information systems and infrastructure.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, as well as experience in teaching and training others.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the security of our clients’ information systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Facilitate classes at the Bytera Academy.
- Respond to security incidents.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field.
- Experience in teaching and training others.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices – penetration testing, application security and cloud security.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
