We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Dental Surgeon Assistant / Technician (DSA/DST)
Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the dental surgery.
- Comfort and reassure patients before, during, and after dental procedures.
- Manage patient records and appointments accurately.
- Provide oral health education and advice to patients.
- Process and sterilize dental instruments.
- Perform infection control procedures in compliance with regulations.
- Assist with dental X-rays and laboratory work.
- Maintain stock levels of dental supplies and materials.
Qualifications and Skills
- Certified Dental Surgeon assistant/technician qualification.
- Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills for record-keeping.
- Understanding of infection control protocols and health regulations.
