Job Summary
- We seek a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Office Accountant to manage financial activities, ensure accurate reporting, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage financial plans, budgets, and budgetary control reports
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and international standards
- Prepare monthly income statements, quarterly management accounts, and annual financial statements
- Manage cash flow, investments, and capital expenditures
- Maintain asset registers for the corporate office
- Conduct financial analysis and risk assessment
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
- Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff
- Ensure consistent financial practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; ACA, ACCA, or CFA certification required
- 5+ years of experience in finance, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, financial regulations, and corporate finance
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Remuneration
- Salary: N400,000 – 600,000 Monthly.
