Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor all facility-related projects
  • Participate in work program meetings with regulatory bodies with requisite presentation slides and make presentations.
  • Participate actively in barge re-classification and re-certification activities with the class and flag
  • Coordinate and ensure all facilities and pipeline routine inspections/surveys, and licensing issues are closed out with regulators
  • Good knowledge of offshore production facilities, facility platforms, and well-heads
  • Ensure effective maintenance of production metering skid at export terminal and coordinate meter proving activities as well as annual prove loop calibration, and ensure regulatory participation.
  • Ensure successful and peaceful lease of requisite facilities/equipment and participation in drilling campaigns
  • Coordinate field pipeline/facility-related geophysical and geotechnical surveys
  • Actively participate as a project engineer in fatigue life extension projects and submit all relevant documentation and follow up till closeout
  • Ensure effective maintenance of facilities/packages (i.e., follow through on PMS, sims etc)
  • Follow up with the field and participate in preventive maintenance activities and facility audits
  • Ensure spares and materials needed on the facility are delivered
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all rotating equipment
  • Ensure maintenance and recertification of all pressure vessels and pressure safety valves
  • Prepare monthly maintenance reports
  • Conduct failure rate analysis and life cycle assessment for all critical equipment in the facility
  • Assist with any other duties as may be assigned by the departmental manager

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.SC, B.Eng., B.Tech– preferably Mechanical or Chemical/Process Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in the Upstream sector of the Oil and Gas Industry Field Operations and at least 5 out of the 10 years performing core Facility Engineering functions.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Relevant certification and degree in Facility Management
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with budget management and vendor relations
