Job Title: Farm Inventory Control, Oversight & Accountability Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and supervision of crops and livestock planting process and procedures, maintenance, harvesting, control and compliance.
- Performs proactive crop and live stock protection analysis and evaluation on a regular basis and make recommendations based on the result of the evaluation.
- Develops and maintain effective communications between corporate management other employees and any other individuals that affect the operations of the farm.
- Perform related duties as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods in the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular quality checks
- Ensure all shipments are processed promptly and accurately
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff and provide training as needed
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to create a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues
- Monitor and optimize warehouse efficiency to meet productivity goals
- Assist with inventory forecasting and planning to meet customer demands
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an O’level qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping processes
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
