Position Overview

• We are currently seeking a motivated Finance Intern who is looking for a Placement for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Abuja.
• The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in finance and will gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Support the finance team with budget preparation and monitoring.
• Help with the analysis of financial data and trends.
• Assist in processing invoices and payments.
• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes.
• Participate in the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts.
• Perform other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Must be currently available for NYSC and seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
