Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations of our hotel and apartment complex. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial planning, reporting, and strategy to ensure the financial health of the business.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, to support the hotel and apartment in optimizing profitability and maintaining a strong financial position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements for management review.
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and hotel policies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to track expenses and control costs.
  • Manage internal audits and external financial audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, prepare financial models, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
  • Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures to optimize financial operations.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and training as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Must have 4-5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
