Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Functions

• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements);
• Performing periodic financial analysis and reconciling financial discrepancies;
• Auditing financial information;
• Reporting expense and weekly cash flow;
• Prompt filing of tax outstanding in multiple jurisdictions
• Providing and implementing best practices on transfer pricing
• Preparing management report;
• Tracking receivables and payables accounts via ageing report;
• Maintain asset register;
• Monthly pension remittance;
• Book-keeping and journal entries;
• Generating invoices;
• Keeping up to date with financial policies, practices, and regulations;

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Data analysis, Economics, Math, or Engineering
• At least 5 years working as a financial analyst in a medium-sized organization
• ACCA or ICAN certified required
• Knowledge and experience working on transfer pricing, tax filing, tax regulator engagement, bookkeeping is a must
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint
• Experience using reporting and data analysis tools
• Strong business analytical abilities
• Expert in the use of excel and Google sheets

Desired Skills:

• CFA certified is a plus
• Experience using Tableau and SQL is a plus
• Experience working within the startup ecosystem is a plus
• Attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Teamwork and collaborative skills
