Financial Model Specialist at Lytup

• Lytup is focused on providing efficient, safe, and sustainable residential battery energy storage solutions using lithium-ion technology and battery thermal management systems. The company aims to electrify Sub-Saharan Africa by offering battery systems coupled with PV technology with a lifespan of up to fifteen years. Lytup’s immediate goal is to deliver reliable 24-hour power to Africa, starting in Nigeria.

Role Overview:

• Clean up and enhance an existing financial model for a hardware company
• Build dynamic and realistic financial models, including balance sheets that align with grant fund raising, debt, and equity requirements
• Collaborate directly with the CEO to ensure the model aligns with Lytup’s strategic goals
• Prepare models that support Lytup’s continued growth and scaling efforts in the clean energy space

Requirements:

• Proven experience building financial models for companies that have successfully raised funding
• Expertise in creating detailed balance sheets, cash flow, and P&L statements for hardware-based businesses
• Strong understanding of dynamic financial modeling for both debt and equity raising
• Experience with grant applications and fundraising is a plus
