Job Description
- This role is critical in managing the reception area, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication flow within the company.
- The Front Desk Officer also assists with administrative tasks and contributes to creating a positive customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors and customers, directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Handles service requests (complaints, enquiries and reports) promptly and professionally via phone and in-person and escalates unresolved issues in the relevant department for resolution.
- Monitors service requests (complaints, enquiries and reports) to closure.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including calls, emails, and deliveries.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Manage records of visitors and customers.
- Maintain a positive attitude while dealing with customers and employees.
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter.
- Collaborate with security personnel to maintain the safety and security of the facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a service-oriented or utility company.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
