Job Summary
- We are seeking a friendly, organized, and attentive Front Desk Officer to join our team in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a comfortable stay for our guests.
- As a Front Desk Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for managing check-in/check-out, room assignments, and communication with housekeeping and maintenance staff.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out procedures
- Assign rooms, handle room key distribution, and manage room changes
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to guest inquiries
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure prompt service
- Manage guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with guest requests, such as extra towels or luggage storage
- Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions
- Collaborate with the management team on special events and promotions
Requirements
- 0-1 year of experience in a hotel, guest house, or hospitality environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with hotel management software and POS systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with reservation systems and room assignment management
- Knowledge of local area and attractions
- Certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
