About the job

• As a Frontend Developer at Univacity, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user interface and experience of our platform.
• You will collaborate with our product design and backend teams to create intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive web applications using Angular.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product designers to implement user interfaces that are modern, engaging, and responsive.
• Translate design concepts and wireframes into high-quality, efficient code.
• Develop and maintain reusable components and libraries for future use.
• Optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide feedback on design feasibility.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend defects and issues.
• Stay updated with the latest frontend development trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 4 – 5 years relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Angular framework and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (Sass, LESS).
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with UX/UI design principles.
• Knowledge of Angular Material or similar UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, Express, MongoDB).
