Job Description

  • We are seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager (GM) to join our team. As the GM, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of our organization.
  • You will work closely with the CEO , Country Manager and the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategies that align with our mission and drive our impact.
  • This is a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children with special needs and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s daily operations, ensuring effective execution of our mission and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the CEO , CM and the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and initiatives that align with our vision and drive organizational growth.
  • Lead and manage a dedicated team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to streamline processes, optimize efficiency, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Oversee the financial management of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, and donors, to foster strategic partnerships and secure funding opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at various events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance our visibility and strengthen our reputation.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, news, and best practices related to Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD, and ensure this information is effectively communicated to our team and the wider community.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and impact, making data-driven recommendations for improvement and growth.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the nonprofit sector, ideally with a focus on children with special needs or related fields.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving organizational growth and impact.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of the challenges and opportunities in the field of special needs education and support.
  • Passion for our mission and a strong commitment to empowering children with special needs.
