Job Description
- Our client is currently looking for a dynamic and motivated Accounts Payable Trainee to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate with a degree in Accountancy who is eager to learn and grow in the field.
- The ideal candidate will be based in Mowe, Ogun State, and will be responsible for assisting in the accounts payable process and gaining valuable hands-on experience in finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the accurate and timely processing of invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Input financial data into the accounting system, maintaining accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
- Assist in reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving any discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of invoices, payments, and related documentation.
- Generate basic reports and assist in analyzing accounts payable data.
- Actively participate in training sessions and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in Accountancy
- 0 years of experience, suitable for a fresh graduate (post NYSC).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Smart, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Assertive communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Gross Pay Range
- N70,000 – N100,000 / month.
