Job Title: Expediter – Buyer (Oil & Gas)
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: NYSC
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the complete procurement process with the procurement team
- Liaison with commodity managers on purchasing requirements
- Prepare requisitions descriptions of items required and ensure purchase requisitions are properly authorized
- Responsible for the preparation of procurement documents which includes but not limited to RFQ preparation, bid clarifications, commercial bid evaluation and purchase requisition and if applicable prepare the purchase order on client’s behalf.
- Prepare supporting documents i.e., sole source documents, request of approval, etc.
- Negotiate claims with suppliers.
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.Sc / HND qualification or any related field.
- NYSC corp member fresh out of camp and looking for a PPA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software.
- Excellent time management skills.
