Title: Program Intern

Location: Abuja (FCT) or Remote

Duration: 3 months (renewable)

Program Interns at Data Aid

  • Are you passionate about leveraging data and technology for developmental impact? Are you passionate about digital public goods (DPGs) and designing programs and interventions around DPGs?
  • Data Aid, a cutting-edge organization at the intersection of data science and developmental/humanitarian action, is seeking dynamic and motivated Program Interns to join our team.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, learn, gain hands-on experience in the developmental sector, and be a part of a team dedicated to making a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the program team to support the design, implementation, and evaluation of developmental projects.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and visualization to drive informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of project reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • Support program communication efforts through various channels, including social media and newsletters.
  • Engage in research activities to stay informed about emerging trends in data-driven developmental interventions.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Strong interest in developmental/humanitarian field work, research, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization platforms is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
