Job Summary

• As a Graduate Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and enforcement of parking regulations within designated areas.
• This role offers hands-on training and development opportunities to gain practical experience in parking management, customer service, and public safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and Monitoring: Conduct routine patrols of assigned parking areas to ensure compliance with parking regulations.
• Issuance of Citations: Issue warnings or citations for parking violations, such as expired meters, improper permits, or unauthorized parking.
• Customer Assistance: Provide courteous assistance to customers regarding parking regulations, directions, and general inquiries.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of parking violations, warnings issued, and vehicles towed or immobilized.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with law enforcement or towing services when necessary to address more serious violations or safety issues.
• Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to parking enforcement, conflict resolution, and customer service.
• Report Generation: Prepare reports detailing daily activities, citations issued, and any incidents requiring further action.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure parking enforcement equipment, such as handheld devices or ticketing machines, is properly maintained and operational.
• Compliance: Stay updated on local parking regulations and policies to ensure fair and consistent enforcement.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree, OND, HND in any field.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience: Prior experience in customer service or a related field is beneficial but not required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk or stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
