Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to oversee the day-to-day management of our platform.
- This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our online store and gaming activities, managing programs, and providing financial oversight.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a keen understanding of both operational and financial management within the online retail and gaming sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of Afriprize, ensuring the platform functions smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment with strategic goals and operational standards.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and address any issues affecting platform performance.
Program Management:
- Lead and manage key programs related to luxury shopping and gaming experiences.
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to launch and optimize new features and promotions.
- Ensure that all programs are executed in line with the company’s strategic objectives and customer expectations.
Financial Oversight:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Monitor financial performance and report on key metrics to the senior management team.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement financial controls to optimize profitability.
- Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure that customer satisfaction is a top priority by managing service quality and addressing any issues that arise.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and engagement with the platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience of a minimum 8 years in an operations management role, preferably within the online retail or gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting processes.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, financial software).
Salary
N800,000 – N1,000,000 Monthly.
