Job Summary
- This is a medical administration role responsible for the daily operations of the hospital and providing oversight to hospital staff to ensure prompt delivery of service and appropriate quality care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Oversight responsibility for smooth operations of the hospital on a daily basis
- Ensure hospital is in compliance with policies and all regulatory requirements including state and local laws
- Maintain a consistent level of quality care offered to patients
- Monitor patient flow in all service points in the hospital and drive initiative for continuous improvement.
- Monitor the adequacy of the hospital’s medical activities in conjunction with the leadership team.
- Track and provide relevant reports on various hospital metrics.
- Manage relationship with partner HMO and their enrollees
- Timely resolution of grievances and complaints by patients
- Other duties as assigned
Key Result Areas / Performance Goals:
- Smooth running of the hospital and its services
- Prompt management of customer’s grievances
Educational Qualifications
- MBBS
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and or relevant professional body with a valid medical practicing license.
- Certifications or trainings in customer service, relationship management and business analysis are desired.
Key Competencies:
- Basic Life Support skill
- Excellent documentation and communication skills with IT skills required for the use of EMR and Microsoft Office Packages
- Knowledge of the Nigerian healthcare sector
- Support and supervisory skills
- Interpersonal and Management skills.
