Job Description

  • As a Hotel Female Assistant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our hotel and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Your experience, education, and strong leadership and managerial skills in the hotel and hospitality industry will contribute to the success of our team. This position is specifically open for female candidates to create a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Assist the Hotel Supervisor in supervising and leading a team of hotel staff, including front desk agents, housekeeping staff, food and beverage servers, and other operational personnel.
  • Collaborate with the Hotel Supervisor to assign duties, set performance expectations, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team members’ skills.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.
  • Support the Hotel Supervisor in ensuring exceptional guest service by training staff in customer service best practices, including personalized service, effective communication, and problem-solving.
  • Assist in handling guest complaints and resolving them promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction and retention.
  • Participate in monitoring guest feedback and implementing improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Collaborate with the Hotel Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of various hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security throughout the hotel premises.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing room inventory, availability, and reservations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Support the Hotel Supervisor in conducting regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet guest expectations.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service standards.
  • Assist the Hotel Supervisor in budget planning and control, ensuring adherence to financial targets and cost-control measures.
  • Collaborate in monitoring departmental expenses, such as labor costs, supplies, and operational expenses, to achieve profitability goals.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and support the implementation of strategies to drive revenue growth, such as upselling and cross-selling.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant supervisory role in the hotel and hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills to effectively support and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction and handle difficult situations.
  • Sound knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges and guest concerns.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and systems for reservations, guest services, and reporting.
