Title: Human Resources & Administration Officer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Training:
- Work closely with and support HR department, other department and management in the provision of HR and Administration services to the company;
- Weekly monitoring, update and management of the day-to-day activities relating to Knowledge Management (internal, external and personal development) on the appropriate medium provided (e.g. forms, software, etc.).
- Make all preparation towards organizing internal and external trainings (e.g. facilitator, venue, training materials, public address system, set up feedbacks, emails to participants, etc.)
- Continuous monitoring of training feedback and ensure completion within two weeks.
- Continuous monitoring of training evaluation and ensure completion after 3 months weeks.
- Follow up with all departments to collate training requests, review training certifications that are due to expire within the year.
- Assist with executive assistance including minutes taking, and follow up with appointments.
- Maintain appropriate contact and develop good relations with subcontractors and other organizations that can influence and impact upon operation and service;
- Ensure all non-conformances are reported immediately to minimize the company’s risk;
- Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media etc
- Conducting interviews and filtering candidates for open positions
- Work closely with and support the Human Resources and Administration supervisor, superintendent and line manager for the provision of HR and Admin services for the department;
- Maintain and update personnel data, records data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals and absenteeism rates;
- Determines applicant’s requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Identify staff vacancies, recruiting, and selection of applicants;
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other relevant degree
- NYSC Certificate or exemption letter.
Experience:
- Approximately 5 years within HR or Administrative management with a large national/multi-national organization;
- Experience of a high paced business environment delivering successful HR support will be an added advantage;
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
