Title: Female Human Resources Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
  • Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date.
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team.
  • Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
  • Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
  • Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
  • Conduct performance and salary reviews.
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies.

Requirements

  • Must be a female of not less than forty years of age
  • Must possess First Degree in the Human Resources or related field of study
  • Must possess not less than four experience as human resources manager with experience as a generalist.
  • Practical experience in developing and implementing strategies for managing performance, motivation, change and culture management of staff of different diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with the National and international Labour Law
  • Multitask oriented, organized, set priorities, meet deadlines and take pride in one’s work.
  • Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding expectations and able to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Passion for social enterprise, development of people and environmental benefits
  • Active relevant professional membership/certification will be an added advantage.
