Title: Female Human Resources Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date.
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team.
- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
- Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
- Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
- Conduct performance and salary reviews.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies.
Requirements
- Must be a female of not less than forty years of age
- Must possess First Degree in the Human Resources or related field of study
- Must possess not less than four experience as human resources manager with experience as a generalist.
- Practical experience in developing and implementing strategies for managing performance, motivation, change and culture management of staff of different diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Familiarity with the National and international Labour Law
- Multitask oriented, organized, set priorities, meet deadlines and take pride in one’s work.
- Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding expectations and able to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Passion for social enterprise, development of people and environmental benefits
- Active relevant professional membership/certification will be an added advantage.
